THREAD LIFTING

Do your face and neck reveal your age? Unfortunately, the first signs of aging appear in these areas. Initially, fat loss in the center of the face, sagging around the cheek area, and the contour of the jawline start to affect the upper part of the neck.

Thread Lift, also known as “Facial Thread Lifting,” lifts mildly sagging skin on the face and neck, restoring a more youthful and rejuvenated appearance with a natural outcome. It is ideal for those experiencing mild to moderate sagging in the jawline and neck. However, Thread Lift is not suitable for all individuals. If it’s not the appropriate treatment for you, Dr. Tzamantaki will evaluate and suggest other personalized and effective solutions based on your specific needs, such as Scarless Lift, Pinch Lift, U Lift, Mini facelift, or even combination techniques, always with minimal trauma and maximum results!

Social media has recently been flooded with the biggest trend in celebrity appearances, known as “Foxy Eyes” or “Cat Eyes.”

It gives the female face a youthful and intensely fresh eye shape, similar to beautiful models; that’s why it’s also called Model’s Eye Lift!!! It elongates the upper eyelid and lifts the outer corner to achieve a more attractive gaze.

The technique is performed using special Thread Lift APTOS threads (the latest generation of Plastic Surgery threads) with small 4Dbarbs that expand in four dimensions, maximizing the lifting effect.

The threads not only lift and reshape the cheek area and the eye area but also activate fibroblasts, resulting in increased collagen and elastin production for a long period after the treatment.

The experienced doctors at our clinic will guide you to achieve the desired result.

Successful plastic surgery is one that perfectly harmonizes with your overall image, making others wonder if you’ve had any work done or not. “Let them guess.”

Thread Lift and Suspension Devices Procedure

Dr. Tzamantaki, a pioneer in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery with over 20 years of experience in minimally invasive Face-Neck Lifts and having performed over 5,500 cases with Thread Lift/Suspension Devices Lift, will clinically assess your face and neck and guide you to achieve the best possible natural outcome without incisions using the selected treatment. The procedure is performed under local anesthesia or sedation. Depending on the complexity of the case, it can last from 30 minutes to 2 hours. There are threads specifically designed to support deep tissues, creating a stable network in the subcutaneous layer, as well as “suspension devices” that lock into the fascia and have good lifting capabilities for the sagging tissue in the correct areas of the face. With threads, we can gently lift the brows or the tip of the nose, reduce the distance between the upper lip and the nose (known as “Lip Lift”), define the angles, and improve sagging in the jawline. Essentially, we help mildly sagging skin return to a younger state and, simultaneously with Suspension Devices, create a firmer profile.

Is it the same as a Facelift?

Do not confuse the results of a Thread Lift with those of a Facelift!!! A Thread Lift should be repeated in 9-12 months to maintain the results. However, it offers the advantage of no incisions, no downtime, and most importantly, ensuring a natural outcome without the potential postoperative complications of surgery. Dr. Tzamantaki will recommend the appropriate treatment, guaranteeing a natural result with her experience, using the world’s best companies APTOS/Silhouette Lift/Promoitalia for the lifting procedure.

Ideal Areas for Thread Lift and Suspension Devices

  • Mild facial sagging – Creating a stable subcutaneous tissue
  • Brow lifting
  • Facial contouring
  • Reduction of jowls sagging
  • Minimizing nasolabial folds
  • Lip lift
  • Improving neck sagging and cervicofacial angle
  • Abdominal skin tightening
  • Arms, knees, thighs, buttocks

Advantages of Thread Lift and Suspension Devices

  • Microscopic incisions that leave no visible marks
  • Fast recovery
  • Local anesthesia or sedation
  • Swelling, if any, subsides within 1-2 days
  • Minimal pain and no downtime. You are already in excellent condition within two days.
  • Consistently expected, controlled, and natural results
  • It extends the time until a regular facelift is needed, as long as you maintain it, relaxation will not come!
  • The same applies to the body; it maintains and preserves the treated area in the best possible condition.

Disadvantages of lifting with Threads and Suspension Devices

  • You will need to repeat the procedure, at least in the jawline and upper neck areas, if not in all treatment positions. Depending on the existing relaxation, the repetition should occur 9-12 months after the first time. Subsequently, it should be repeated every 2-3 years for the third time.
  • High cost: To shape and lift the face uniformly and correctly, it requires an adequate amount of various types of threads and suspension devices. The cost is also particularly high for the body, and unfortunately, it is not a treatment that provides the magic of surgery the first time! That is why it is chosen in selective cases and in the early stages of relaxation to effectively maintain the affected area.

What is the cost?

The cost varies depending on the areas that require intervention as well as the extent of relaxation in those areas.  In our consultation Dr. Tzamantaki will inform you about the final cost during your clinical examination.
